- This update is very long overdue. Sorry for the delay. But Ive finally
posted pics of my new Rspeed exhaust . It was installed way back in the end
of November. And I do love it. It's not too loud and it's not too quiet.
For me, it's perfect. --- And in other news, I've added a link to the Reservior
Dogs Rally movie. It was posted by someone on the MINI forums. Pretyy sweet.
Great job. See below. 11/23/2003
- Went to the Reservoir
Dogs Rally today and had a total blast. It was by far *THE* best organized
rally or car cruise that I've ever been in. It was very well planned from
the get-go. We had handout printouts with a nice write-up & maps in it.
We had some history before the rally and commentary along the way. It was
a nice run. Not too fast and not too slow. Just right. I wanna thank everyone
involved. And it was nice hanging out with everyone. A wonderful day in November.
I've got some pics. See the event link down below. --- And the other event
link I have are pics to when I drove my MINI to a Nissan 300ZX/350Z car meet
in PA. Another fun day hanging out with car nuts.

- Sorry for the long delay.
I know it's been a while since my last update. Back on 9/20/03 I installed
some new mods in the MINI. I picked up the cup holder set from MINI-Stuff.
And it's absolutely awesome. I can finally put normal size cups somewhere
in the MINI. And most importantly, it's at arms reach, not behind me in the
rear cup holder. And that rear cup holder now has another use. It was the
mounting point for my new arm rest I picked up from RSpeed. And it's perfect.
It gives me the perfect place to rest my elbow when driving. It's actually
placed at the perfect angle so that I can upshift & downshift the CVT
in a relaxed manner. Another great mod. And lastly, I picked up the rear
saddle bag to store misc things. Check out the pics below in the 'Events'
section. That's it for now. 9/15/2003 - Well, I finally got my Green Twister
intake from the Pilo Racing group buy. And I installed it last week. I love
it. The motor has a very nice growl now. And it also has quicker throttle
response. I'm sure there is some HP gains, but I don't know exactly
how much. I do have a G-Tech performance meter/PRO accelerometer. And I
did some baseline reading in stock trim. I got a max wheel horsepower of
107 when the air temp was 69 degrees in the morning crisp air. And
I know that the G-Tech is not the most accurate HP measuring device, but
it's something that I can use off the track. So after the intake install,
I went out again for more readings in the afternoon warm air when the temp
was 76 degrees. I got 107 WHP again. But I really want to go back to the
drag strip to see what numbers I get. --- And I've created a section
to the left for my G-tech readings. Then below, I've got some pics of my
installed intake.
